Our entry for the 2014 Solar Decathlon Europe competition is a Passive solar house constructed entirely of textiles. By working with textiles, we are challenged to address the conventional wisdom of architecture with fresh eyes. And just as a textile is comprised of many different threads, as a building material it encompasses the characteristics of several materials and embodies each stage of architectural process.
