We have received images of Pulse Pavilion, a fascinating temporary structure designed and built by third- and fourth-year undergraduate architecture students at the University of Saint Joseph in Macau. The design team was led by guest professors Kristof Crolla (Laboratory for Explorative Architecture & Design Ltd. / LEAD) and Dannes Kok. We have received photos and a video of a pretty stunning temporary pavilion built with 3,000 corrugated hexagonal cardboard boxes for the annual “Fallas” festival in the Spanish city of Valencia. The Flint AIA chapter and Flint Public Art Project have unveiled the winner of the first annual Flat Lot Competition, an initiative to design and build a temporary summer pavilion in the central parking lot in downtown Flint, Michigan. We have received stunning photos of the new Porsche Pavilion at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg, Germany. The building which opened just recently is the first addition to Volkswagen's theme park since its opening in 2000. Designed by German HENN Architekten, the pavilion expresses the importance of Porsche within the Volkswagen Group family. — bustler.net
