The Aluminaire House looks to Sunnyside Gardens as its possible new home

Kocher and Frey built The Aluminaire House in 1931 for an exhibit in New York City. The House became an exemplary prototype of modern building forms and techniques, and addressed issues of available affordable housing in New York neighborhoods. The Aluminaire House was mostly built from aluminum parts, which were donated by the manufacturers. A drawn representation describing the Aluminaire House as 'the Home of the Future'.
