New tower in San Francisco - Richard Meier & Partners
The proposal would replace a parking lot and a low building near the northwest corner of Market and Van Ness with a 34-story, 400-foot residential tower designed by New York's Richard Meier & Partners.

I am working on proposals for this same corner - This is the street corner w/o a city - this corner needs to be totally rebuilt to bring it back into the city - The Meier proposal is to create another Fox Mall type of residence tower that only the well heeled Twitter employees up the street can afford - what about affordable housing? Lets do something that includes the people.
