Starting October 20th, an art exhibition will open in three galleries in Buffalo entitled, "The Wall: Reshaping Contemporary Chinese Art". The massive show is a sort of history of avant-garde art in China and will feature Forty-seven artists represented by about 83 works, some never seen before outside of China. In conjunction with the exhibit will be a research conference, "to examine the historical and aesthetic significance of the so-called Great Wall and many other Chinese boundaries, both physical and metaphorical, in their global contexts."
