Welcome to the real world. Take a number & go to the end of a very long line of unemployed architects + interior designers. Stay in college & get a Masters Degree in business, etc. Tough times indeed.

it's very sad. i have met a bunch here and there. some ones have been able to get unpaid internships (i think they'll be better positioned when things turn around)...

I have been unemployed for 1 year now. That being said, I am doing both pro-bono work and un-paid internships. Even though I know BIM, that will no longer cut it, now that everyone, thier brother and sister have hopped on the BIM wagon. They also want people who are verbally articulate, have the right look, the right personality...
