Tulane's former Architecture Dean and creator of the school's Rome Program, Ronald Filson, is suing the school for breach of employment agreement and contract, detrimental reliance, negligent misrepresentation, action in defamation, age discrimination, existing medical condition discrimination and taking of intellectual property. i loved my time at tulane under filson's watch but i don't understand this. if tulane broke a contract, i get it; but if they just shifted course and an adjunct professor got left out - well - is that unusual?!

a previous dean was sued and eventually gave up trying to make things work at tulane, at least partly because of the conflict. schwartz is really just getting going, so it would be a shame for this to weigh him down if it's frivolous.

would love some more insight than the article gives. anyone know more? feel free to email me.
