so will the US maps actually be redrawn, or will it be like a dotted red line on clearly delineated state line map of the US? if i buy a world map will i see Lakota Nation Territory?

thanks for the map marlin. it does put things in perspective. strange enough, no major newspaper has carried the news yet (except usa today), and even stranger, i first saw the news in a turkish news service. however, i decided to run it through the lakota press release.

with so many special interest groups around, i really don't know what to make out of it.

i'm sure if you asked either the Arikara, Mandan and Hidatsa peoples they would tell ya that the lakota were quite the expansionists in their day. for example, they invaded the Arikara after those peoople were devastated by small pox in the 18th century.
