well, to its credit, *not* 50 architects. i really enjoyed peter saville's. a little dry, but he writes as smartly as he designs. re: zaha, cleverly only uses sexy context-less images. how does she get so clever? re: rex, i rather like their buildings, models and drawings, but am getting a little tired of the rhetoric.
My mistake, realized that when I posted it, should have said '50 Designers'.
I liked #21 (Valerio Olgiati) & #25 (Jeop Van Lieshut) b/c of their brevity and also b/c I can imagine them as rebuttals from an exhausted design student to a visiting critic.
