The competi ti on brief called for a urban development within very strict development site lines that needed
to contain private apartment residences, parking spaces, and commercial retail spaces at the ground
level of the urban scheme. Further, expected number of non-profi t apartments within the social housing
complex were in the range of 800 units. All other units were considered commercially rated, in total 922
were proposed in our scheme. In additi on to residenti al and commercial spaces a competi ti on brief has had
green space requirements which should be comprised of a park and playgrounds. The esti mated cost per
square meter was 250 euros.
