Born in 1981, in the historical city of Aleppo, as a child I just loved drawing cartoon characters and enjoyed using them to making-up stories, moving to the UAE in 1991 gave me the chance to live the amazing Construction eveluation and amazing sky scrapers forets. Inspired later by my father, architect Najdat Yakoub, and with big support of my mother, I decided to become an architect. Now I try to re-live my childhood by telling a new story by every building I design.Starting my journey in Jordan and finishing in UAE, I’ve got my degree in Architectural Engineering in 2003 and began my work at a very talented and creative firm ( GHE ), where I was able to learn how to present my ideas and myself, and most importantly - how to be different through experimenting with the elements of space, material, colour and light.  Continuing my career at the Italian company MGAC, I was able to express myself more, as MGAC gave its architects the chance to be artists, not just engineers.After moving to Abu Dhabi in 2009 to join the prestigeos firm Syrconsulat, I received the chance to design a number of diverse unusual projects, encorporating their functional needs and the history and culture of the location. A big change in my carrier as an architect happened when I began to work with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs designing embassies around the world.In 2012 I started my MSc in sustainable design for the built environment at the British University of Dubai. Here I’ve learned that there is more to what we can do as architects. Today, being an architect means to me bringing to people not only new emotions, but also a new quality of life, by enhancing their surrounding and providing a fresh perspective on the place they inhabit
