infill [HOOK] was set as a finalist.

Rather than using everyday desks one might find in most campuses, the building for the Washington Alexandria Architecture Center is filled with a specific type of Ikea chair. Most times, . Our group decided to find an extra use for it. The [infill]HOOK uses the existing holes on these chairs to support any bag. With this, the user doesn’t have to leave his or her bag on the ground and find an easier means to access his or her belongings. Making the [infill]HOOK’s was simple: CNC wood, glue and finish. This piece was a finalist in the AIA DC Re-Form product design competition.
