Transformation of a vacant 440,000 SF former AT&T office building. The nearly yearlong, multi-phased interior fit-out entailed a major energy efficient lighting retrofit on which we worked closely with California based Finelite, a leading manufacturer of high performance lighting systems to design a system that provided a higher-quality light while realizing a 50% reduction in energy comsumption for lighting and the number of light fixtures. Occupancy sensors, water efficient plumbing fixtures, low VOC interior finishes, zero irrigation landscaping and a 500-kilowatt rooftop solar photovoltaic system are part of an integrated sustainable design approach.
The project awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Commercial Interior GOLD certification by the United States Green Building Council, an honor that recognizes sustainable design. Recipient of two significant design awards including; a Commercial Real Estate Impact Award by the United Way of Northern NJ and a Good Neighbor Award by the NJ Business and Industry Association.
