Neptune Senior Center

The existing 8,400 square foot facility sees over 35,000 visitors per year. All activity programs and lunches were maxed out then our client called. The parking areas and access to the site also required extensive redesign to improve safety. Set up and break downs for activity multiple times during the day lead to great inefficiency. Over 40 home bound meals are prepared and delivered each day.

The proposed design solution transforms an
existing 12,400 square feet Rite Aid into a new Senior Center.  A new, dedicated fitness area,
including an equipped work-out room, separate rest rooms and a separate public entrance is
designed to allow this area to be used during nontraditional hours.  A welcoming lobby
includes a built-in fireplace and café kiosk for refreshments and snacks.
