Surreal Museum

Design follows a principle of combination of heavy and cold existing structure (wall and ground) made by concrete, and light and warm museum made mainly by wood. New building does not pretend to dominate over the wall or surrounding area (school and housing) but play role of activator of all hidden, lost and useless parts.

Museum never goes the same level, it is always different. It is located both partly under and up the ground and inside and outside of the wall.

Wall is open to the sun light and this provoke plants develop and grow. while it is growing it covered all the surface of the wall and under that “CAMOUFLAGE” it is hard to determine the true structure of the wall.

Wall plays a role of a vector. Museum is subordinated by that wall and follows that direction.
