Are there things about each program that jump out to you, one more than the other? I am UO centric personally but I have to be honest and have you ask yourself some of the real honest questions. If you have been able to, attending a grad day has helped friends decide on Portland (UO's satellite program). I have no experience with IIT.
If you have worked prior to this decision crossroad, what is it about grad school that you are looking to develop? Materials, Breadth of knowledge? Theory? Design Methods and Process? All big questions, not for all but for some these are all instrumental in that all important final decision.
