Used to be, Macbook Pro's with bootcamp were better than anything else on the market. Is this still the case? Anybody use anything by HP or whatever that is just as good and inexpensive?

I still choose macbook for the OS, the high res screen and the good "balance" of specs. honestly bootcamp sucks, I rather use dedicated mac apps like rhino and autocad - there is also maya for mac, if you like polygon modeling.
Forget a laptop look into the high powered option of this instead. My girlfriend has one and it will run anything you throw at it, for a little less than a macbook pro
