What kind of foam is this and where (online preferably) can I get it?
Note that this is not your "traditional" styrofoam that you get in boards with a relatively small thickness. Some of these pieces gotta come from huge blocks!
What's it called and where can I get it?
I've googled, but didn't have much luck...
Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Home depot/ lowes have it in pink and blue. It comes in up to 4" thick 2' x 8' "boards" and can be easily laminated together.
If you want real big blocks, you are going to pay for it. You can buy pre-cast solid plocks of lightweight poly foam several places online, but shipping is a bitch. Better to just get it at home depot and laminate.

I'm not in the US so I don't have access to Home Depot and the similar home improvement stores I've been to only sell the thinner boards (no more than 60 mm / 2.36 inches).
@archanonymous can you list here some of those online places?
Thanks, but I need it shipped to Europe and unfortunately those fuckers don't ship overseas. :(
Do you know of any others?

Found a source in Norcross,Georgia; that has blue up to 4" and white up to 3" don't know about shipping, you can check. Foam over that size is too difficult to ship and is generally for industrial use like manufacturing SIP's where they mix/make their own on-site.
But this is really just standard insulating board available at any home building / hardware super-store (again in Germany, at places like obi, toom, bauhaus, hellweg, etc..).

@Carrera thanks, I'm gonna contact them to see if they ship overseas. ;)

I think I'm allowed to necropost in a thread about deadly, cancerous material, so here it goes:

yay, another vote for style over substance.
Where in Europe are you?
In Germany you can get it at Modulor.de (http://www.modulor.de/en/Plastics-Rubber/Rigid-Foams/Styrofoam-light-blue-untrimmed.html) which also ships.
