Norman Public Space Public Life Study

The Institute for Quality Communities Workshop focused its efforts on researching the community of Norman, Oklahoma in order to find issues affecting the public life of the area. Adopting Jan Gehl's Perth Public Space Public Life Research Study as an exemplary template for observing the urban fabric of Norman, the workshop collected information on demographics, pedestrian patterns, and other relative facts. Once the research was collected and analyzed, it was fairly obvious that there are opportunities that the City of Norman can take t to enhance and better the lives of its community members.
