I care a lot about details. I love to understand the space, shape, material, and texture. My attention has been balanced between architectural and graphic design and often the discourse of how the two disciplines might meet. My experience in school, travel, and professional work has given me an ability to think personally yet efficiently about these topics.
After graduating from SCI-Arc in 2009, I worked in NYC for several years. I initially did shop drawings, model making, and renderings for an independent furniture designer until being hired by BAM Studio in SoHo. I then left at the beginning of 2012 to pursue my cultural and architectural interests in Japan. I interned for Tezuka Architects in Tokyo, started up Atelier Simple in Osaka, and worked at a wood mill producing traditional Japanese framing systems.
I recently returned to NYC where I plan to find an internship/employment with a firm well suited for my skills and personality. Among others, my more proficient computer skills are AutoCAD, Adobe - Illustrator / InDesign / Photoshop, Maya, and Rhino3D. Please refer to my resume for a more comprehensive list.
