In New York City, there are over 500 privately owned public spaces.  These spaces, run by private corporations but open to the public, have generally been under-used due to the ambiguous nature of their program.  This project aims to revitalize one such space by placing an architectural intervention that would draw in the public and supply much needed amenities to city dwellers.
