About

I am recent graduate with a Master in Architecture from UNC Charlotte and am seeking out an architectural intern position that will launch me into my life-long career as an architect. I have always viewed that architecture is not just an object in the landscape, but rather is an action that must be coordinated to create the most optimal spaces for society to occupy.

Over the past two years I have refined my knowledge of sustainable practices and innovative technologies through involvement with the Solar Decathlon competition and the P3 Expo. Both of these competitions introduced me to the necessity of cross-disciplinary coordination in the efforts to make architecture something more than an object in the landscape. Being involved in the Solar Decathlon gave me additional construction experience that I had already began accumulating from previous internships.

My ultimate interests in architecture is to work in the discipline to create spaces that will affect a person's perception of the spaces they interact with and to change the perceptions of stereotypical typologies through the careful consideration of structures and materials.
