I am a student of architecture with wide-ranging interests in design, art, urban planning and community development, music, and education. As a student I have maintained a high level of achievement, producing projects which have consistently been placed in the school's archives and sustaining a GPA which has placed me on the President's List each semester I have been at Pratt.
Professionally, I have worked for RSVP/N+ Architecture Studios, working on each stage of development for a wide variety of projects. I also worked for a summer with a community organizing group in Detroit, Michigan, where I was able to engage in action and dialogue on the rennaisance of this struggling city.
Musically, I have taught lessons for several years to individuals as well as classes of young students in Detroit, Michigan. I also have a wealth of experience performing live, and a strong background in writing and recording. Most notably, I have toured with artist Jeff Bruckner and wrote, recorded, and performed with the band Parple.
While working with RSVP Studio, I assisted artist Jean Shin on several of her own projects and extensively on the installation at the Decordova Museum, "Retreat" with her collaborator, architect Brian Ripel. My time on that project saw the three-part installation from its early conception through to final production and installation at the museum. Most recently, I worked with Jean Shin on "Recall," an installation commisioned by Pratt Institute for their 125th Anniversary Celebration.
In the spring of 2013 I studied architecture in Rome, Italy with a Rosenfeld Scholarship.
