Bio: | Trained in industrial design at the College For Creative Studies, Doyle has spent the last 10+ years working with modes of physical and sensory interaction through the design of environments, exhibitions, live events and installations. He was the first place winner of Archinect's Communication Booth design competition in 2001, and served as Graphics Chair for the 2003 IDSA National Conference.
Doyle has lectured around the country on the subjects of communication and experience design and is a news editor for online journals Core77.com [industrial design, NYC] and Computerlove.net [graphic design, Europe], as well as Burnlab - his own online design, music and culture resource.
Easily distracted, Doyle also serves on the board of directors for the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit, designs graphics for record labels such as Ghostly International, and operates a monthly postpunk/electro night. Mostly though, he smokes a lot of cigarettes and obsesses about losing his edge. |
