Bio: | Dean Di Simone co-founded the award-winning design firm KDLAB, launched the Crimson Design Group in 2005 and has recently partnered with Cory Clarke and Adam Berninger to form TENDER.
TENDER CREATIVE LLC is an interdisciplinary design practice, focusing on graphics, information technology and new media as it relates to branding, communications, and design. TENDER provides a breadth of design services including environment, interactive, graphic and information design consulting. Recent awards and publications for projects by our designers include Communication Arts Design Annual, Metropolis Magazine, and SPA-de Magazine.
Dean Di Simone (BSAE & BSCE, University of Miami; Master of Architecture, Columbia University) has been the creative director and designer on a series of award-winning branding, print and interactive projects for both clients and his suite of companies over the past years. Dean has also acted as Creative Director on exhibition designs for clients such as The Eyebeam Atelier, Nike, the SciFi Channel and MoMA. Dean continues to engage academia through teaching and has taught Advanced Digital Media at Yale University, Internet Protocols at Columbia University, and Information Culture at the University of Pennsylvania where he is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture. Dean has been invited to participate as juror in numerous international design competitions as well as speaking engagements focused on both architecture and new media. |
