Project brief to design a crematorium using only one material. This brief is less concerned with space planning and uses a park-land site. The focus of this project is on the application of our designated materials, it’s characteristics, production and application and how it is used to condition the structural, spatial and environmental qualities of a free-standing building.

In this case, the material I was allocated was brick. This design explores parametric brick arrangements which allow light to penetrate the walls and provide varying surface patterns.
