This project consists in the renovation of an existing House such as in its extension which develops in a straight relation with the pre-existence buildings (such as the wall, original house and old ovens), even as the natural surroundings where stand the old orange trees and the stone well South/West. The intervention wants to qualify the transition between the house and natural surroundings. The new building reinterprets the language and scale of the existing buildings in a context of a contemporary intervention. The new volume is characterized by a telluric construction of narrow and vertical spaces with an one water roof. The exterior/interior relation is conditioned by huge windows facing west and punctual openings on both sides, it as two connections to the main house through two tunnels of corten steel, one visual and other where you can go through. The generator concept of the building composition is based on positive and negative represented in the exterior materials, wood strips on the shutters and the exposed reinforced concrete. There is an obvious contrast between the used materials on the requalification and the new building, on the first one the materials and the construction systems are traditional and the other are concrete and zinc metal.
