He received his Architecture education from Philadelphia University from 1994-1999; receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree. As a practicing professional with 16+ years of experience, he maintains a focus on creative solutions through a thoughtful process to achieve experiential and captivating designs. 

His career started in New York City and took him to Philadelphia where he currently reside. He went on to co-found an award winning design firm, FISHTANKPHL. Under his direction for 6 years, FISHTANKPHL received numerous recognition of excellence in design. Below are a few highlights:

2011, Rolling Stone magazine named Union Transfer, a live music venue, in their ‘Top 20 Rock Venues in America’ while the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) list it among one of the hottest venues on the US east coast. 

2011, American Society of Interior Designer PA East Chapter awarded the Red House design as the best single family residential design in the region. 

2012, Magpie Artisan Pies storefront was recognized for its facade design with its innovative signage application by the Philadelphia Commerce Department and The Community Design Collaborative organization. 

2012, Design Bureau Magazine, an international design magazine featured FISHTANK PHL in their annual architecture review book, profiling the Red House. 

2013, FishtankPHL and the work of Union Transfer was exhibited at the AIA Center for Architecture as part of the Philadelphia Emerging Architect’s annual award + exhibition show.
