Concept: The Wedding Dress
A dresser will be designed for an adult woman, Katelyn Pankoke. The dresser’s design idea comes from Katelyn’s love for designing and creating wedding dresses. Taking the inspiration of her passion,
she will connect with the piece as well as her daughter when it becomes hers as a child. This concept is expressed in the undulating shape of the case piece as the silhouette of a woman in her wedding dress. The dresser is also highly functional displaying many uses and transformations; much like the way a wedding dress should be able to transition from the traditional ceremony to the exciting reception.
