The S.A.T. Project is the first 3D Public-Private Mass Transportation System for People and Freight in the world. Its technological innovation resides in working under all three different directions of movement; horizontal, vertical (with no height limitations) and on any gradient. A 3D mobility will allow commuting within spatial coordinates, generating interrelation between different floor levels, either indoors or outdoors. Opening the threshold to the concept of 3d transportation defines a new transportation category and a turning point in contemporary Architectural typologies, given it has emerged not as an enhancement on present technologies but from a new perspective, a holistic vision integrating environmental and societal issues, urban planning processes, architecture, policy and sustainability matters, and transportation engineering.

This qualitative and quantum shift allows contemporary cities to re-organize under a new concept of dynamic infrastructures, while upgrading to the next generation of spatial-cities, the concept of 4DCities, a new urban organization from a new concept of market, logistics, social interactivity, production, governance and urban property
