Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership (LHSA+DP) is an integrated full-service architecture and exhibit design firm with special expertise in institutional planning and design, program development, master planning, interpretive exhibition planning and design, educational programming and graphic design. Since 1980, our firm has provided these services to museums, visitor centers, corporate offices, residences and educational institutions.
Central to LHSA+DP’s mission is our intensely collaborative process of interpretive planning and programming that ensures a sensitive, holistic approach to all project work. Our goal is to unearth the compelling stories that underlie every design situation. We start with the beliefs and visions of the client first, while taking into account the intricacies of the site and surrounding context. The "story worth telling" becomes the guiding principle for every aspect of the project. Through design we find the way to best tell that story in order to enrich the lives of our clients and communities. Our credo: Listen. Learn. Distill. For over thirty years, LHSA+DP has completed design and architectural planning projects for a variety of organizations. Our clients include Aileron, the Muhammad Ali Center, SONY Wonder Technology Lab, Global Crossing, the Smithsonian Institution, the Paley Center for Media, the American Museum of Natural History, the Cooper Hewitt National Museum of Design, the Cooper Union, and the Creative Discovery Museum.
