Radiation Therapy: Phase 5

This is Phase 5 of Radiation Therapy.

The most notable part of this phase is that the tree has become the epicenter of my project.  An important thing to note is that this is not just any tree; this is an old growth tree.  This tree is significant for multiple reasons. The tree divides the research labs and the administrative building.  Circulation within the facility revolves around the tree, reminding the scientists of the purpose of their work.  The tree also serves as the meeting point for the scars on the landscape, which allow the public to access the site from underground.  It is also implied that the waste is buried beneath the tree.  It is buried deep below, but symbolically there is the idea that the waste is perpetuating the forest.

In this phase I also experimented with different ways to delineate the zones.
