About

Senior/undergraduate student enrolled at Florida State University; in progress of completing my BS degree in the field of Interior/Creative Design(anticipating graduation August 3rd, 2013.) I am a driven individual seeking to gain experience in a fast-paced working environment through either a reasonably compensated internship position or an entry level position, ideally commencing early-mid August (upon the completion of college degree.)
Though currently living in Tallahassee, I am seeking opportunities that will divert me to a new area/region, ideally entailing a sense of depth in regards to design influence, following completion of my undergraduate studies here at FSU. My strengths lie in computer platform proficiency (Mac OSX + PC) and related design software, (MS Office, Adobe CS5, QuickBooks, etc.) as well as graphics (process sketching and graphic diagramming) but am certainly willing to seek out and experience any and all aspects of the creative design process.

Press Release:
Chicago, IL — The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) proudly announces the winners of its NeoCon 2013 Student Design Charette. The Student Design Charette gathers students from across the country, assembling them into random teams to face a given design challenge and a limited time in which to develop an innovative design solution. This year’s competition doubled the size of last year’s, with 10 teams facing each other to devise a repose lounge inspired by a space within the Merchandise Mart and using elements found at NeoCon.
“The Student Design Charette represents a unique opportunity for students to experience what it’s like to innovate under pressure with fellow Designers of differing backgrounds,” IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP, said. “With twice the participation of last year’s Charette, the heightened sense of competition this year led to an impressive yield of design solutions that offered a glimpse of the vibrancy of Design’s future.”
