On this project I worked with two other students to take an existing church designed by August Perret and transform it into a concert hall. The hollow shell concrete roof was designed acoustically so we decided to keep it. The existing columns would obstruct the view of the concert so we suspended the roof using a tensile cable system and the existiing foundations.
