About

I am a Master of Architecture student at Northeastern University graduating in May 2015. Thanks to my background in Mathematics and Art, I view architecture as visual problem solving, and I enjoy how it challenges me both analytically and creatively. I am most interested in environmentally motivated design, from sustainable technologies to efficient spaces and reuse through renovation.

As a teaching assistant for Environmental Systems and Integrated Building Systems, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the elegance of comprehensive design.  I explored the pragmatics of building science at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, where I investigated building failures while working as part of a team of engineers and architects to implement strategic solutions. Through site visits, building surveys, testing, repairs, and installations I became a valued team contributor.

These experiences fuel my passion to design architecture that is enhanced by practical concerns rather than eroded by them.
