Designed using parametric tools, this protoype for a partition wall achieves emergent pattern, texture, and structure through controlled local variations in each wall component. This quarter-scale protoype of 350 pieces measures approximately 6’x3’. Formed with layers of synthetic white felt and spray treatment, the structure is both soft and self-supporting.

My Role: Collaborative design process w/ project partner, developed 3d model in Rhino with Grasshopper, fabrication files for laser cutting, three-day prototype build.
