Education

University of Houston, Houston, TX, US, BArch, Architecture

My professional bachelors degree encompassed theory, craft, history, physical & 3D model making, wood shop, welding, industrial design, structure, and much more. The final studio I took, had the most impact on who I am today. This was the study of "The Minimum". Pragmatic design utilizing minimal materials, iterative designs, and simple but impacting design elements.

The focus of my undergrad thesis/minor was in "People & Culture of Latin America". In my final year I was a finalist in a student competition. The project was the integration of sustainable, low-income, low-cost housing initiative for a poor suburb in Latin America.
