Kevin Chamberlin is an adventurer and scholar of architectural design and theory. He graduated from the University of Tennessee’s College of Architecture + Design in 2012 with a Bachelor of Architecture. An appreciation for brutalist form, graphic design, and photography developed and informed Kevin's design sensibilities and helped shape his academic career. During his studies, Kevin spent a semester abroad in the Spring of 2011 at Politechnika Krakowska in Krakow, Poland. During this experience, he developed an immense passion for travel and experiencing all that there is to experience in the world. A dedication to sustainability and energy conservation was imperative to Kevin’s education and something that he holds at a very high importance in everything that he does. Kevin was also a team member of Living Light, the University of Tennessee’s entry into the 2011 Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon. In his time with the project, Kevin served as a team leader for the project as well as led tours of the home to the Department of Energy jurors as well as to the public at the decathlon.
Kevin moved to Charlotte in the Summer of 2012 and works as a Designer and Director of Marketing at Bartlett Hartley & Mulkey Architects PA.
