Final major design project for MSc Architecture program
A socio economic envelop and an urban gray field regeneration project, Enhancing use of social magnets and multi-functional public mall in the midst of busy commercial capital hot spot of Colombo, Sri Lanka.


Carefully studied the complex and dynamic micro as well as macro context, identifying the project goals, objectives and issues to cator the design project followed a comprehensive research thesis.


Utilizing an city exhibition and convention facility as a magnet and creating connected network of public inflow towards the magnet from selected urban hotspots while placing commercial venues besides the public flow in a form of a mall, this mega city development project was to bring life to the massive urban gray field in the most expensive urban land lot of the capital city of Sri Lanka
