I have had three summer internships in the architecture & engineering fields and one and a half years of professional experience since graduating.  I am looking forward to starting my architecture career and I am willing to relocate anywhere within the United States.

I graduated in May of 2011 from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning with a Master’s Degree in Architecture and a concentration in Ecological Design.  I focused my graduate studies on better understanding the importance of building information modeling and ecological design.  I spent the last two semesters of graduate school working on low-income and mixed-income housing projects, but I also have a broader interest in the positive impact that responsible architecture can have on the people who live in and use the building as well as the surrounding communities.

Since graduating, I have been working for Kohl’s Department Stores in their Merchandise Presentation department as a temporary planner.  I have been using the Adobe Create Suite to edit photos and develop presentations and design boards, while also using a planning program to merchandise clothing fixtures and lay out department floorplans.  I have enjoyed my time at Kohl’s and have learned a lot about presenting new ideas to a wide range of clients but my contract is complete and it cannot be renewed due to a new company policy that does not allow consultants to remain under contract for more than one and a half years.

Please feel free to contact me any time by phone or email if you have any questions, would like more information or to see my academic work.

Thank you for taking the time to review my information.
