About

In May 2009, I received an A.A.S. in Civil Technology and a certificate in AutoCAD. I am currently a full time student at the City College of New York, majoring in architecture. Over the past 4 years, I've had several internships through which I can many technical skills and an understanding of how an architectural practice is run.

Currently, I serve as Co-Chair of City College's AIAS Chapter, and Student Representative of the CCNY Architecture Alumni Group. In the past, I served as President and Chair of the AIAS Chapter, and my achievements included educating my classmates on NCARB, creating opportunities to start earning IDP credits while still in school, as well as a Freedom by Design Program to help low income families and communities through modest design and construction.

Due to this work and leadership I did for CCNY'S AIAS Chapter, I was awarded the NYSAIA 2012 Student Award. It is given to an architecture student in New York State that exemplifies leadership and makes notable contributions to their AIAS Chapter.

In the Fall of 2012, I studied abroad in Barcelona. I was able to expand my network, experience new cultures, and learn Spanish. I am currently in my 5th year of architecture school, and will be graduating with a B.Arch this June 2014. I am applying to grad school and plan to graduate in June 2015 with a Masters of Sustainability.
