Jessie Violand

About

Jessie is a thinker full of creative energy. She loves to explore different design options until finding one that works. She loves the process of design and seeing something change from an underutilized place to a beautiful space.

Jessie’s background includes single family residential design, multi-family housing, site planning, retail design, and landscape design. Jessie focuses on sustainable, functional, aesthetically pleasing design.

Jessie believes in thoughtful design, which includes developing walkable safe communities. She believes in a strong connection between nature and the built world. Her style is to create things with intention. Jessie’s own recipe for success: overthinking, non-stop exploration, non-stop research, and caffeine.

When Jessie is not working on a design project, she loves to spend time at the beach or in the mountains. She loves to travel and explore new places and hopes to explore most of the countries in the world. She loves to spend time creating art, trying new recipes, dropping in for a yoga class, or going out for a long run.
