This experimental performance hall ties together stories of the city, stories of music, and future stories of performance. An analysis of jazz music and the history of Boston brought about an understanding of jazz, Boston, and the performance hall as a combination of framework and improvisation. Contextual response and interior flexibility create a space that is rooted in memories of music and the city, yet also experimental in character.
