About

KEY DATA & BIOGRAPHY

I am a young, hard working and very ambitious architect, with five-year experience of  Architectural practice in Portugal, New York and London. In 2009 I completed a Master of  Architecture and Urbanism at the Portuguese Catholic University, after a six-year study  program, with the underlying theme “Urban Continuous”.

My first architectural experience abroad occurred under the Erasmus program at Aldo Rossi  University in Cesena, Italy. This opportunity instilled in me the will to pursue an international  career, benefiting from different cultures and environments.

Once I finished My Master degree, I became part of Álvaro Siza Vieira’s office in Oporto  (Portugal), where I collaborated with different teams on distinct projects, typologies and  programs, such as Paraninfo BBK in Bilbao, and the Fire Department of Stº Tirso, in Portugal.  At the end of the internship period, I was permanently hired in the office and involved in the  international architecture competition, “Alhambra Atrium”. The project was awarded the first  prize.

After becoming a licensed Architect in Portugal in 2012, I moved to NYC. I started working at  Studio Link-Arc where I contributed to the Design Development of the China Pavilion for the  Milan Expo 2015. In 2014 I was offered a position at IL Architects. I extensively participated to  the Concept and Schematic Design, as well as Construction Documents for a NYC high-rise  residential building.

I am currently working at HCL Architects in London, from the very beginning I've bee involve  in the Concept Design and Schematic Design and in the Planning Application in the mix-us  commercial project Finsbury Tower from the very beginning  My academic and professional experiences have enhanced my competitive qualities and  made me a resilient individual, eager to continue learning and contributing proactively,  working autonomously or as part of a great team.
