Worked on commercial and high-end residential interiors. Assisted in field measuring, drawing existing plans and elevations for various projects. Worked on the design and concept development for these projects, as well as proposed plans, elevations, and construction drawings. Responsible for detailed millwork drawings, architectural and lighting details, as well as preparing documents for client presentation. Assisted with fabric selections, sourcing furniture and fixtures, and preparing tearsheets. Maintained sample library, contacted vendors regarding quotes and production status, in addition to other administrative tasks.
Huniford Design Studio, New York, NY, US, Design Intern
Sole intern for AD 100 designer, James “Ford” Huniford, specializing in high-end residential interiors. Worked on production and launch of Huniford’s first solo furniture collection. Maintained sample library, contacted vendors regarding quotes and production status, worked on detailed drawings of collection pieces to present to fabricators. Assisted with site measurements, fabric selections, tearsheets, and planning for various residential projects. Responsible for maintaining showroom and warehouse inventory of Huniford Collection pieces, along with vintage and antique pieces. Listed and maintained online sales of vintage pieces on 1st Dibs and One Kings Lane. Also assisted in preparing for shelter magazine and newspaper photo shoots.
Moonrise Kingdom, Middletown, RI, US, Art Department Intern
Worked with Set Decorator to source props, furniture, and period pieces for a feature film. Assisted in layout and arrangement of spaces and researched decorative period pieces, as well as materials.
