500 W. 30th St, a high-end luxury rental apartment building, features several amenities that are meant to attract young professionals to the up and coming neighborhood of Hudson Yards, such as: lounge areas, reading rooms, party rooms, outdoor decks, pet grooming salon, and an Equinox Gym.
Taking cues from New York City’s High Line, which is next to the site, the design of the lobby and amenity spaces combines the industrial elements of the former elevated railroad with the idea of early 20th Century glamour to evoke feelings of nostalgia and cool.
