About

John started his design career in 1998 as a showroom Sales Rep at Randolph & Hein. With a standard of service that stood out among all others in the industry. He was repeatedly recruited by others to join their sales team. During this time John learned and absorbed everything he could about textiles and furniture and quickly developed a passion for custom work, be it furniture or textiles he fell in love with creating, developing and turning ideas into reality.
In '03 he was once more recruited to a new position, this time by his long time loyal client, Donna Livingston. Donna placed him in the position of Project Manager / Designer of an extremely important project. This multi-million dollar Beverly Hills Penthouse renovation was the start of something big. John and Donna worked side by side on all aspects of this project as well as the development of many custom pieces of furniture. Upon the completion of this project he was once again recruited to another sales position, but this was not where he truly wanted to be. In '06 Donna brought John back once again for another special project, her own residence.
In '09 after the completion of her home she took a hiatus and John went on his own when a former client of Donna called and asked if she could hire John to complete a project that she had started with another designer. From there John continued exclusively for 6years with this client and completed 2 full residential remodels, consulted on a Medical Center as well as several smaller projects.
John is an outstanding team leader with an ability to work with all trades involved in the process of High-end Residential design.  During his 6 year period with his exclusive clients he designed and managed two complete residential remodels without contractors, as a partnership with the owners as owner/builder. With a love of the process as well as the end result, nothing makes him happier than the client loving the finished product and the pride of a job well done.
