URBANUS is recognized as one of the most influential architecture practices in China. More than a design practice, URBANUS is also a think tank that aims at formulating architectural strategy from the urban environment in general and the ever changing urban conditions. URBANUS always focuses on urban realities in China and seeks architectural solutions based on its research of the emerging urban problems. URBANUS was founded in Shenzhen in 1999, under the leadership of partners Xiaodu Liu, Yan Meng and Hui Wang, and has offices in Beijing and Hong Kong.
Responsible for urban design related work: including urban master planning, urban design, conceptual planning (analysis and research on sustainable environmental planning and integrated development), etc.
Leading urban design or urban planning projects.
Leading the project team to work on other related tasks.
Bachelors or higher degree in Architecture or Urban Design from a renowned national or overseas university, with at least 3 years’ relevant experience.
Capable to deal with complicated urban design problems and complete schemes independently. Familiarity with basic planning codes in China.
Strong creative skills in schematic design. Proficiency in design software or strong sketching skills.
Good communication and project management skills.
Efficient and self-motivated team player with strong sense of responsibility.
Work experience in large design institute, joint venture, or overseas design firm is a plus.
Priority given to candidates with a professional license.
Candidates with great enthusiasm in urban design and research are welcomed.
