Are you a creative and enthusiastic architect who has successfully led teams in delivering great retail, restaurant, multi-family residential, and/or mixed-use projects?
Do you have a working knowledge of the technical side of architecture, as well as the experience to address legal and financial issues?
Are you ready to join an energetic team of professionals to grow a practice and take it to the top? And do you want excitement and fun while doing it?
Lowney Architecture is seeking a person with OOMPH! — commitment, enthusiasm, and expertise — to join the leadership team of our dynamic, fast-growing firm. This is not a role for a low-energy person — we may not be a giant firm, but we have big ambitions.
You'll be working with smart people every day, out in the studio, solving actual problems. And to keep you moving fast, we're considering not even giving you a chair. (OK — we're kidding!) But we are expecting that you'll hit the ground running.
The Project/Operations Leader position is an integral leadership and management role, responsible for the business and operations of our 18-person (and growing) practice. You'll have hands-on involvement with project process and delivery, technical design, and talent development. In addition to your firm-wide responsibilities, you will also be running specific projects as the senior project manager. We believe you can be 60% billable, and hope that will contribute $1.5M–$2M to annual firm revenues.
You will have significant experience in management of retail, restaurant, multi-family, and/or mixed-use projects of notable quality. You will also be a key practice leader in your current firm, with experience managing a studio or architectural office, as well as responsibility for building a growing, successful practice.
