GEI Consultants has an outstanding opportunity for an Architect in our New York City office to work on a variety of projects throughout the region. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a growing and dynamic office on high-profile projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for producing project documentation, BIM modeling, aspects of design, research and graphics under direction
  • Prepares design drawings, construction drawings and presentation documents.
  • Applies knowledge of architectural principles and practices.
  • Able to understand project needs and respond in an efficient, logical manner.
  • Understands sustainable design concepts and able to integrate with work at hand.
  • Applies architectural concepts and designs with the support of more experienced staff
  • Experienced user of Bentley Microstation for project documentation in transit projects.
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit in modeling and project documentation
  • Experience with Sketchup and 3D MAX in the creation of models, materials, animations and renderings.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time is necessary.
  • Ability to self-direct and self-regulate required.
  • Excellent communication skills required.


  • B.A. Architecture.
  • min. 3-5 years U.S. experience in facade rehabilitation, roofing, waterproofing, windows, specifications,
  • Computer knowledge and communication skills.
